Recently, the domestic precision casting industry has ushered in a wave of process innovation. Core load-bearing castings such as machine tool beds, columns, worktables, and Z-axis rams have shifted from simply focusing on the tensile strength of cast iron to collaborative optimization of multiple indicators such as rigidity, shock absorption and damping, residual stress control, and long-term deformation resistance.

 

As the "skeleton" of CNC machine tools, the quality of bed castings directly determines the operating vibration, tool path accuracy and long-term use stability of engraving machines, gantry machining centers, and boring machine equipment. At present, mainstream precision equipment generally uses HT250-HT300 high-grade gray cast iron raw material. Relying on the unique shock-absorbing properties of the internal flake graphite, it can suppress the resonance tool shake problem during heavy-load machining.
